Luke: The Gospel of Amazement

Main Idea: The humble will be exalted in God’s mercy and the proud will be humbled in judgment. This is a theme that we find a lot in the scriptures and a thought that we are familiar with. But we see it so clearly in the life of Elizabeth and Mary and I pray that God can apply this lesson to our lives as well. God is merciful to those who fear him and His power is able to overcome the proud. I hope you can see his mercy clearly this morning. I have three points (1) The Magnificant, (2) The Fidelium, and (3) The Benedictus
