Trust the Bible

William Tyndale paid a great price to get the English bible into the hands of his people. He believed that having the Bible in our own language was vital, but have we moved on from the Bible? How big of a priority is the Bible for our lives? Do we trust the Bible? Is the Bible sufficient for us? Wayne Grudem has a helpful definition: The sufficiency of Scripture means that: it contains all the words of God he intended his people to have in each stage of redemptive history, and it now contains everything we need God to tell us for salvation, for trusting him perfectly, and for obeying him perfectly. Scripture contains everything we need for salvation. We should be Bible people, who trust the Bible because it is God's word, because it teaches us how to live and because it will completely equip us for every good work.
